so the thing about the empty child/the doctor dances is that it is a masterpiece one of the greatest works of art on television and it exemplifies everything thats so good about doctor who it literally stands as a perfect testament to all that this show was at its best and all that good science fiction should be and honestly i may have to rerewatch these two eps before moving on in my rewatch
it literally is marxism in action and feminism and human kindness and horror and hope and sex and scandal and gay rights and everything everything everything
hold on i had a point in making this post and i totally forgot to make the point bc i was too busy thinking about how good it is. but my point was that it makes me extra angry at m*ffat bc like it cant all be your best but if this is your best then i would expect your average to be proportionate to that but it literally is like he can be ur devil or ur angle except he is just almost always the devil
I love when songs have sounds in them ...... rain......animals......people talking......glass breaking.......cars.....trains.......etc.......
In addition to this i also love when there is talking/goofing around/other weird things in between songs on the album (like queens of the stone ages little radio interstitials on songs for the deaf). and also when the songs lead directly into each other. we need more of that please dont let the album with strictly chronological tracks die
